Inside the tube there is a stainless steel float, which will move upwards reaching a specific height that will depend on the weight of the float and the thrust of the water. Thus, the higher the flow rate, the higher the float will be positioned, marking a flow rate (l/h or GPM) on the scale marked on the transparent tube.
- The flowmeters are cone-shaped transparent tubes (narrow at the bottom and wider at the top).
- They are installed in a perfectly vertical position in series with the pipe of which the flow rate is to be measured.
- Models available from 10 to 1000 l/h (0.04 - 4.4 GPM).
- Vertical mounting.
- PVC-U fittings.
- Methyl methacrylate tube.
- PVDF float stops.
- AISI 316 float.
- Maximum working temperature: 55ºC (131ºF) according to VDE / VDI 3531, class 6.
- Pressures up to 15 bar.
- Double visible scale on each flow meter: l/h and GPM.
- Applications: process control in water treatment, osmosis, heating and cooling, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, etc.
