The 45o connector elbow has the function of facilitating the connection of the hose to the pool skimmer, when no suction socket is available.
It allows the hose to be routed to the skimmer outlet, offering a safer connection without loss of suction and avoiding damage to the hose.
The elbow is placed between the flow control valve and the male end of the suction hose.
