How does an integrated pool cleaner work?

HOW DOES AN INTEGRATED POOL CLEANER WORK?



Integrated systems for automatic pool cleaning, also called integrated pool cleaners, are an interesting alternative to automatic pool cleaners in newly built pools.

They are easy to use and self-contained. However, their water consumption is high.



The operation of an integrated cleaning system is very simple. To begin with, the positioning of the delivery nozzles (Figure 1) and the collection area with the sump must be well designed.





Once in operation, these nozzles are raised, directing a powerful jet of water that sweeps the debris into the collection area (sump) for easy removal.

In addition to cleaning, these nozzles perform another very important function for the pool: the homogenisation of the water.

It is also a system that is fully integrated into the pool. When not in operation, the nozzles disappear, remaining flush with the floor and steps,

for example, making them practically invisible. There are no annoying suction hoses or electrical cables floating in the pool. All that is left is a clean pool, ready to enjoy.




COMPONENTS AND INSTALLATION:



- POP-UP ROTATING NOZZLES:



There are different models of rotating cleaning nozzles to suit all types of pools.

These nozzles sweep debris from the bottom of the pool, steps, benches and spas, working together to direct the dirt into the collection area.



- DISTRIBUTION VALVES:



The distribution valve directs the flow of water to each nozzle or nozzle zone, sectoring the cleaning of the pool.

This valve is well known for its reliability and durability.



- MDX-R3 DRAIN:



The MDX-R3 drain, part of the collection area, effectively removes debris and dirt from the pool.

It is capable of sucking up all solid particles, including large debris such as leaves, which are directed towards it by the Pop-Up rotating nozzles,

sending them to the pre-filter installed for subsequent disposal.



- LARGE CAPACITY PREFILTER:



This pre-filter has the function of protecting the recirculation pump and pipes, making a first filtering of the waste collected by the MDX-R3 sump.

In the case of long stretches of suction pipe, it can be installed next to the tank to protect it.



- SKIMMER VENTURI:



Due to the high power of the Pop-Up rotating nozzles, some of the dirt on the bottom is lifted.

A skimmer with Venturi system optimises the operation of the skimmers, actively collaborating in the cleaning of the pool.



- SWINGJETS:

Swingjets are wall-mounted nozzles that improve cleaning and water circulation.
