Idegis Domotic 2 Plus is the new version of the Domotic saline chlorinator with integrated pH and ORP control. Designed for water disinfection of private pools up to 160 m3. Modern and compact design with 2.8" TFT touch screen and scalable control functions using S-Driver plug-in modules. Integrated poolstation as standard for full connectivity. Available in four models: DOM2-12+ (up to 50 m3), DOM2-24+ (up to 80 m3), DOM2-32+ (up to 120 m3) and DOM2-42+ (up to 160 m3). 3 year warranty.

Saline electrolysis: principle of operation

Sal electrolysis is a simple principle that resembles the behavior of the sea and its ecosystem:

The pool water is slightly salty at 4 g/l (9 times less than sea water).

By electrolysis, through the cell, the salt is transformed into chlorine gas, a powerful disinfectant that dissolves instantly in the water.

Chlorine gas destroys all microorganisms in the cell and gives the pool vessel a correct level of free chlorine.

The active chlorine that is removed under the effect of solar UV, is constantly renewed by the cell without any intervention being necessary.

All are advantages with saline chlorination, but it stands out especially for avoiding the handling and storage of dangerous chemicals, as well as bad odors, dry skin and irritation in the eyes. There is no residual accumulation and there is no need to empty the pool, saving on the purchase of chemicals and maintenance.

For your convenience

For the proper functioning of electrolysis, the pH of the pool should be maintained at 7.2 and 7.4.

To maintain a good water quality it is essential to have a balanced water (pH, hardness, TAC) and an effective filtering adapted to your pool and its conditions of use.
