No obstacles in the pipe

The Hidromag flowmeter of Hidroconta has ultrasonic technology so it does not have obstacles in the pipe and therefore, there are no pressure losses and it is necessary less stretch of straight pipe at the inlet and outlet of the flowmeter.

Adaptable to any type of fluid

The coatings and electrode materials of the Hidromag flowmeter are variable to work according to the different characteristics of the circulating fluid, i.e. variations in density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity of the fluid do not affect the measurement of the meter.

Stable measurement

Programmable at low frequency square wave excitation, improving measurement stability and reducing consumption.

The processing is fully digital, providing greater resistance to noise and producing more reliable measurements.

Display

It has a high definition backlit LCD display.

Alarms

The Hidromag flowmeter includes different alarms that are represented on the display that incorporates the equipment, intelligent detector of empty pipe, upper limit, lower limit.

Types of power supply

Hidroconta has a different Hidromag flowmeter to cover all your power supply needs, battery, 220 VAC, 24 VDC.

Our Hidromag flowmeters are used to measure volume and flow of a conductive liquid in a closed pipe. High measurement accuracy is guaranteed over the entire measuring range of the meter. They implement a 16-bit microprocessor, providing high integration and accuracy.

The working principle of the HIDROMAG Electromagnetic Meter is based on Faraday's Law of Magnetic Induction. The sensor is mainly composed of a measuring tube with an insulating coating, a pair of electrodes inserted in the wall of the measuring tube, a pair of coils and iron cores to produce the magnetic field. When the conductive liquid flows through the measuring tube, a voltage is produced between the electrodes, which is directly proportional to the velocity of the liquid. The signal is amplified and processed by the converter to perform the various functions shown on the display.
