AstralPool's high-performance vertical winding filters are made of fibreglass-reinforced polyester and are totally corrosion-resistant, with high mechanical, chemical and thermal resistance. One of its main characteristics is the height of the filtering bed, the higher it is, the higher its performance will be.
- Access and loading manhole Ø 400 (Manhole)
- Sight glass: For regular inspection of the sand level and checking the expansion of the bed during the washing phase, it can be placed in different positions.
- Side manhole: For unloading the filter medium and facilitating access to the interior, it can be placed in different positions.
- Collectors: Collector system with arms with 0.3 mm slots, evenly distributed for correct water circulation.
- Maximum operating temperature 50ºC.
Advantages
- Increased filtration power results in better water quality. By increasing the retention power, the turbidity and pollutant levels of the filtered water are reduced.
- The time elapsed between washes increases proportionally with the height of the bed, so that there are fewer interruptions in filtration, and less water consumption by reducing the number of washes required and less erosion of the filter material.
- The greater filtration and washing efficiency is obtained from the optimum combination of anthracite, sand and gravel recommended for beds of 1.2 m and higher, reducing the loss of load and increasing the retention power.
